Day 1 IZMIR-PERGAMUM Morning pick up from hotel in Izmir/Kusadasi/Selcuk. Depart on drive throughIzmir City Centre with a stop at Kadifekale (translated as Velvet Castle) forpanoramic views over the bay and city. We then depart to Bergama and the ruins ofPergamum (previously a renowned cultural and political center and used by theRomans as an administrative center for the province of Asia). Here we will visit theruins of the Acropolis and the Asclepion with its theatre.

Day 2 THYATIRA, SARDES, PHILADELPHI, PAMUKKALE After breakfast and check out, depart to visit the ruins of Thyatira (founded by the Lydians), Sardes (wealthy capital of the Lydian Empire) and Philadelphia (important for the spreading of thought patterns and activities of the Hellenisticcivilisation and christian faith). Our day will end on arrival to Pamukkale with a visitto the natural formation of the travertens (Cotton Cliffs) and ruins of Hierapolis.

Day 3 APHODISIAS, LAODICIA, EPHESUS
Breakfast, check out and departure to visit the ruins of Aphrodisias (one of themost important archaeological sites of the Greek and Roman periods in Turkey).On the way we will also make a short stop at Laodicea (mentioned in Revelations as the "City of Compromise"). We then continue to Selcuk where we will visit the Ancient City of Ephesus (representing many different facets of Ancient Greek and Roman culture) and finally the House ofVirgin Mary (where she is said to have spent the last of her days).
